Hifzul Quran Course

Students are taught the method of memorize the Quran with proper Tajweed. Special emphasis is placed on reinforcing the rules of Tajweed during memorization. Periodic testing of the memorized portion of the Quran is done after each section (juz) of the Quran, which the student is required to pass in order to move forward.

This course is designed to cater for each individual student according to his capabilities and potential. The syllabus has been prepared in a manner that will enable each student to memorize the entire Qur’an and retain it by completing a one year revision (dor) of the entire Quran.

Applicants who are enrolled here will gain a systematic approach to complete their Hifz and also get an opportunity to learn the basic Islamic sciences, such as Hadith memorization, Masnun Duaa and Jurisprudence (fiqh).

Criteria: Sabaq, Manzil, & Sabaq Dor:

  • Sabaq: No mistakes, stucks, or tajweed mistake allowed.
  • Manzil & Sabaq Dor:1 mistake for every 5 pages.
  • Manzil & Sabaq Dor: Every 3rd time stuck is equivalent to 1 mistake.
  • Manzil & Sabaq Dor: 1 tajweed mistake per page.
    There are no mistakes allowed in the daily sabaq.
  • If a student has 2 mistakes in 5 pages then he will have to repeat all the 5 pages.
  • Student has to pass naazirah before memorization/getting new lesson/sabaq.

7:45am – 8:00am Assembly (Attendance, Reading of morning duaas, Reciting of Surah Yaseen, and important announcements)
8:00am – 10:30am Manzil (Revision of prior memorized Juz)
10:30am – 12:00pm Sabaq Dor (Revision of current memorized Juz)
12:00am – 12:45pm Lunch and Outside Break
12:45pm – 1:00pm Sabaq (New Lesson)
1:30pm – 2:00pm Zuhr Salaat and Taleem
2:00pm Dismissal
